What Do Miami Mermaids Drink?

No, not water! Snapple!!!! Yes, that's right, Snapple. When Snapple wanted to promote their new flavor, Papaya Mango Tea, they asked the Miami Mermaids. We splashed into the beautiful pool at the Loews Hotel and got to drink Snapple all day! One of The Amazing Race contestants even carried us to the pool!! How much fun was that!

The moral to the story is, drink lots of refreshing Snapple Papay Mango Tea this summer AND be sure to hire the Miami Mermaids.net to swim at your promotion! CALL our mermaid rep at 305.408.1116.

Miami Mermaids Sign Piano Sand Bar Poster

The "Piano Sand Bar" posters arrived so we gathered the troops with Sharpie in hand and signed! Each poster is signed by all three mermaids and our merman, MerTini AND photojournalist, Bill Cooke.

If you remember, on New Years eve a baby grand piano mysteriously appeared on a sand bar in Miami's, Biscayne Bay.  Later, Nicholas Harrington stepped forward as the person that dropped off the piano. The baby grand claimed fame in papers and news across the country.

We hopped a sail boat with Captain Gary and made our way to the sand bar. Our timing was perfect, just two hours after our photo shoot, a salvage company, hired by Carl Bentulan, loaded the piano and hauled it off. Had we waited one more day and we would have missed the shot!

The photos not only came out beautiful, but  documented the story in a unique kind of way. The mermaids put their heads together and decided to design a commemorative poster. "It had all the elements, the infamous piano positioned on a tiny sandbar and blue Miami H2O" Mermaid Medina said.

The posters are colorful, unique and definitely a  conversation starter, oh, and  did I mention that they are signed?

Posters are still available, but going fast!

Mysteriously, a baby grand piano ends up on a sand bar in the middle of Miami's Biscayne Bay. An over night sensation, the piano appears on TV and in newspapers across the country.

So what's a mermaid to do? I'll tell you what we did; we rented a boat, grabbed our candelabra and invited an award winning photographer to join us! The results came out fantastic!

You will want to display this conversation starter in a prominent spot in your home, work place and or public environments. This beautiful 11 X 17 poster can be framed or mounted on a hard surface.

Pictured in this photo are the "Miami Mermaids.net, Mermaid Medina, Mermaid Misty and Merman MerTini. The actual baby grand piano in the exact spot it was left by Nicholas Harrington on New Years Eve.

The Grand Finale on Piano Sand Bar - Biscayne Bay

Miami Mermaids at the Piano Bar, Biscayne Bay
Mysteriously, a baby grand piano ends up on a sand bar in the middle
of Miami's Biscayne Bay. An over night sensation, the piano appears
on TV and newspapers across the country.
Mysteriously, we - the Miami Mermaidsor known
in Spanish as Sirenas Miami, gather around for
one last concert of sorts, "the grand finale" on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011.
About two hours later, the baby grand that attracted so much attention
was dismantled and hauled of by a salvage company.
We were so happy to spend the last hours with this iconic site.
Move over Christo's Pink Islands, Miami has a new iconic symbol!
