Miami Mermaids Sign Piano Sand Bar Poster

The "Piano Sand Bar" posters arrived so we gathered the troops with Sharpie in hand and signed! Each poster is signed by all three mermaids and our merman, MerTini AND photojournalist, Bill Cooke.

If you remember, on New Years eve a baby grand piano mysteriously appeared on a sand bar in Miami's, Biscayne Bay.  Later, Nicholas Harrington stepped forward as the person that dropped off the piano. The baby grand claimed fame in papers and news across the country.

We hopped a sail boat with Captain Gary and made our way to the sand bar. Our timing was perfect, just two hours after our photo shoot, a salvage company, hired by Carl Bentulan, loaded the piano and hauled it off. Had we waited one more day and we would have missed the shot!

The photos not only came out beautiful, but  documented the story in a unique kind of way. The mermaids put their heads together and decided to design a commemorative poster. "It had all the elements, the infamous piano positioned on a tiny sandbar and blue Miami H2O" Mermaid Medina said.

The posters are colorful, unique and definitely a  conversation starter, oh, and  did I mention that they are signed?

Posters are still available, but going fast!
